Production line inspector wanted in Thomas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production line inspector in Thomas County, Kansas. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
