Industrial electrician — City of Suffolk

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial electrician in City of Suffolk, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop Ideal candidate: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter Full-time with occasional weekends.
