Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Huntington County, Indiana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
