Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble fitter in Monroe County, Iowa. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists The role involves grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
