Immediate opening: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in South Tyneside, England. You will be based at a busy decorating firm. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage On a typical shift you will sand and fill walls before applying primer; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
