Elevator technician wanted in Dickinson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Dickinson County, Iowa. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Your main tasks: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
