We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
