Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Cook County, Georgia. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
