Garment machinist • Russell County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Russell County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
