Construction helper • Essex County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction helper in Essex County, New Jersey. You will be based on a metro and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
