Concrete placer • Dewey County, South Dakota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Dewey County, South Dakota. You will work in a residential housing project. Your main tasks: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
