Lifting rigger wanted in Scott County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Scott County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
