We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Six days a week, one day off.
