We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns On a typical shift you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out.
