Lifting rigger wanted in James City County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in James City County, Virginia. You will work at a power plant. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
