Great opportunity: argon welder (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Blackburn with Darwen, England. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Rotating shifts.
