Tailor machinist — Rio Grande County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Rio Grande County, Colorado. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
