Foundry labourer • Duchesne County, Utah

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Duchesne County, Utah. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
