Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium fabricator in Alpena County, Michigan. Requirements: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders Day-to-day duties: • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames Part-time with flexible hours.
