Offshore rigger wanted in Cheyenne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Six days a week, one day off. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
