Gas service engineer wanted in Florence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Florence County, South Carolina. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
