Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Adair County, Kentucky. You will work in a packaging factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor On a typical shift you will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
