Cnc production machinist • Muhlenberg County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Write and edit G-code programs at the control At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
