Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Hudson County

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Hudson County, New Jersey. You will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
