Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Hickman County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Part-time with flexible hours.
