Immediate opening: renovation plasterer (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Graham County, North Carolina. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Day to day you will dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
