Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Hardee County, Florida. The job is in a spray booth. The role involves: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Six days a week, one day off.
