Metal caster wanted in Etowah County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Etowah County, Alabama. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
