Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Box Elder County, Utah. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
