Your main tasks: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card Rotating shifts.
