Great opportunity: fire and safety officer (Nebraska)

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Garfield County, Nebraska. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
