Cement mason • Aitkin County, Minnesota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Aitkin County, Minnesota. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab What we are looking for: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
