Now hiring: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Mendocino County, California. The job is at a busy decorating firm. On a typical shift you will carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
