We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Benton County, Oregon. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 1+ years on the tools preferred.
