Scaffolding charge hand wanted in Polk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Polk County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold You will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
