Aluminium section fitter — Rockland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium section fitter in Rockland County, New York. The job is in a fabrication and glazing factory. Day-to-day duties: • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels What we are looking for: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
