Safety marshal — City of Saint Louis

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in City of Saint Louis, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
