Crane rigger — Nnewi South

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Nnewi South, Anambra State. You will be based on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio 6+ years on the tools preferred.
