Window glazier wanted in Nelson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a window glazier in Nelson County, Virginia. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. The role involves: • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Full-time, day shift.
