Occupational health and safety officer • Chaffee County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Chaffee County, Colorado. The job is on a high-rise building project. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry 6+ years on the tools preferred.
