Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Abbeville County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
