Stainless steel welder wanted in Menifee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Menifee County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
