Vacancy available: powder coating line operator (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Greene County, Iowa. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth 5+ years on the tools preferred.
