Vacancy available: we are hiring a short order cook in Crawford County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
