Fabrication workshop technician — Akure North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Akure North, Ondo State. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day to day you will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame. You should have: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
