Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools 5+ years on the tools preferred.
