QC inspector — Houghton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a QC inspector in Houghton County, Michigan. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor You will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $15 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
