We are recruiting: tandoor cook (New York)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tandoor cook in Cortland County, New York. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Day to day you will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare the mise en place before each service; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. We offer $260 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
