Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Kankia, Katsina State. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
