Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Part-time with flexible hours.
